SAIE Pathways represent a key element for enhancing the special initiatives scheduled during the event, serving as a guide for professionals and optimizing their experience of the exhibition content. These pathways offer an integrated overview of the most advanced and innovative solutions in the construction sector, through demonstration areas, special events and excellence showcases.

SAIE Infrastructure
SAIE Infrastructures enhanced the excellence of projects relating to bridges and viaducts, waterfronts and ports, railway stations and lines, roads and motorways, urban redevelopment, with a special focus on the development of infrastructures in the Apulia region and central – southern Italy. Special focuses were also dedicated to concrete and floorings.
Special initiatives
SAIE Infrastructure Arena
A technical discussion space where various institutional and corporate representatives took turns sharing their perspectives, progress updates on construction sites, and technological innovations useful for project development. Topics included the climate emergency and hydrogeological instability that made it necessary to upgrade territorial infrastructure; interventions from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and the development plan for port infrastructures in Southern Italy; and the redevelopment of urban spaces and the waterfront of Bari.
SAIE Concrete Arena and Demostration Area
The national event was dedicated to innovation in the concrete supply chain, involving all players who used concrete in constructions.
SAIE Floors and Coverings
The focus – in cooperation with the CONPAVIPER association – was dedicated to the world of flooring, highlighted manufacturers and applicators of screeds and subfloors, industrial and logistics flooring, concrete flooring, radiant flooring, installation machinery, resin flooring and coatings.
SAIE Sustainability
SAIE dedicates an in-depth look at the theme of sustainability, the leitmotif of many special initiatives, providing visiting professionals with an overview of the most effective and innovative solutions in the world of construction and building, protecting health, improving indoor well-being and the built environment in all its parts.

Restoration Site Square – Assorestauro
The partnership between SAIE and Assorestauro continued, a collaboration that brought new expertise to the fair and showcased innovations dedicated to architectural redevelopment and restoration.
Energy Efficiency, Acoustic Comfort, and Sustainability Square – ANIT
The ANIT square served as a reference point for energy efficiency, acoustic comfort, and environmental sustainability in construction. Thanks to its member companies present at the fair, visitors were able to explore materials and systems in the dedicated exhibition area, and attended in-depth events focusing not only on product performance but also on legislative and regulatory updates such as the adoption of EPBD4, new minimum energy efficiency requirements, new Minimum Environmental Criteria, the Construction Products Regulation, building acoustics standards, sector support measures, and proper performance evaluation.
It was a unique opportunity to interact with leading companies and top industry experts. In addition to its expertise, ANIT brought several guests, including opinion leaders and institutional representatives, to discuss these topics and present efficient and sustainable projects.
Ceramics and Brick Square – Confindustria Ceramica
Confindustria Ceramica was present at SAIE Bari with the Ceramics and Brick Excellence Square, a collective space that brought together representative companies from the Italian brick and tile sectors around the theme of responsibility in construction. This concept guided the entire edition and was embodied in the Ceramics of Italy 2025 campaign, “I Choose Responsibility. You Should Too” — a concrete invitation to choose materials that reflected care for the environment and people.
This connecting thread united communication, production, and design, reaffirming the role of bricks and ceramics in the ecological transition.
Wood Square
The Piazza Legno at SAIE Bari 2025 was a themed area showcasing the increasing use of wood in construction as a symbol of innovation and sustainability. Here, companies in the sector presented the latest technological solutions, high-performance materials, and exceptional case studies, providing a comprehensive insight into the potential of this remarkable material.
SAIE Windows and Doors
The thematic area that enhances and highlights the best of the production of those operating in the sector dedicated to the world of doors, windows, fixtures and related technological solutions.
ISI Seismic Square
An in-depth area entirely dedicated to seismic engineering, organized and managed in collaboration with ISI – Ingegneria Sismica Italiana and its members. The initiative enhanced seismic engineering through the presentation of products, projects, and case histories of excellence.
A.I.M.I. Plant Square
A.I.M.I. (Italian Association of Maintenance and Installation Professionals) participated in SAIE with a space in which mini-conferences were held focusing on the world of thermohydraulics and on the integration between buildings and plants: from the novelties introduced by the new standards, to leak tests, to radiant systems.
It offered a rich panel of content, thanks to the collaboration with some partner companies, which also exhibited products related to the discussed topics.
SAIE Impianti Demonstration Area
The SAIE Impianti Demonstration Area, one of the main innovations of SAIE Bari 2025, enhanced the integration between building and plant, involving technical sponsors and exhibiting companies to present modern applications in a sustainable, efficient way and in line with the latest European standards.
SAIE People at the Centre
SAIE focuses on people and on the development of the skills of building and construction operators. Thanks to the collaboration with strategic corporate partners, associations, national bodies and training schools, are organized moments of demonstration, training, awarding and sharing of excellence in the Italian territory.

Cassa Edile Awards with CNCE
The award that the construction workers’ social security fund system gave out to companies, workers, and consultants who promoted positive values for the bilateral construction system.
Ediltrophy with Formedil
Ediltrophy, the masonry art competition involved top students from construction schools across Italy, organized by FORMEDIL (National Body for Vocational Training in Construction) in collaboration with SAIE. The national final took place at SAIE Bari on Saturday, October 25, 2025, where winners in the junior (apprentices) and senior (masters) categories were awarded.
Formedil Area
Local Authority Stands, Mini-Competitions, Single Digital Construction Site, Escape Room: during SAIE, FORMEDIL carried out initiatives aimed at promoting their system and directly involving visitors to the fair, with particular reference to young people.
Agents Forum
The Agents Forum returned to SAIE Bari: an initiative dedicated to bringing together companies and sales agents, organized in collaboration with Agent321, the leading international network for finding sales professionals.
Exhibitors wishing to expand their commercial network had the opportunity to participate in targeted interviews and meetings with agents operating throughout Italy who were interested in evaluating new representations and collaborations for Central and Southern Italy.
Masterclass in Energy Efficiency of Buildings – ENEA
The initiative marked the operational start of the “Roberto Moneta” Academy, ENEA’s new permanent training project dedicated to energy efficiency in different sectors and territories. The Academy offered targeted paths for public administrations, businesses and professionals, with the aim of disseminating advanced and transversal technical skills, contributing to the country’s energy transition.
ISI Research Awards
On Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., the award ceremony for the winning theses of the ISI RESEARCH AWARDS took place in the Events Area of Piazza ISI. During the event, the three award winners had the opportunity to present their doctoral work to visitors and exhibitors at the fair. The competition was promoted by ISI with the aim of recognizing excellence in research and promoting the dissemination of knowledge useful for the development of innovative technologies and methodologies for seismic risk prevention.
SAIE Innovation
The pathway dedicated to in-depth discussions on: digitalization, technological innovation, parametric design, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence: key factors for the future of construction.
Special initiatives
Agenzia del Demanio Square
The Agenzia del Demanio, manager of state property and a leader in the BIM sector among public administrations, participated in the fair by setting up a Square of Excellence dedicated to the themes of BIM, “Digital Heritage” and the enhancement of state properties, to tell about the digitization of the building process, and to present initiatives and projects of the Agency dedicated to BIM together with their protagonists.
Assobim Digitalization Square
An exhibition area dedicated to the themes of digitalization and BIM, which saw the participation of companies coordinated by ASSOBIM. ASSOBIM managed a series of technical insights together with its members to promote the diffusion of BIM.
Among the relevant topics were the integration between BIM and advanced data survey and processing technologies; BIM for project calculation; interoperability between different software platforms; BIM for design: infrastructural, plant engineering, structural, architectural.
AIST Technical Software Square
AIST, the Italian Technical Software Association, organized a series of conferences and technical insights with the involvement of member companies. Training moments were dedicated to designers, engineers, construction companies, public agencies, and industry technicians.
DIARS Square: Diagnostics Applied to Restoration and Structural Rehabilitation – CODIS
Within SAIE, CODIS organized the DIARS Square, a focus dedicated to diagnostics applied to restoration and structural rehabilitation. Exhibition spaces, technical training, and practical demonstrations came together in this event to delve into technical topics related to structural diagnostics, involving all categories contributing to the design and execution of interventions on existing buildings.
SAIE Machinery and Equipment
The exhibition area created to respond to the new needs generated by the opening of construction sites who has been financed by the PNRR and construction BONUS, dedicated to manufacturers and distributors of machinery, equipment and technologies for the construction site: from earthmoving to lifting, from demolition to drilling, from quarry site equipment to road vehicles.
Topographic instruments demonstration area
SAIE exhibitors gave live demonstrations of how data was scanned and acquired, allowing visitors to observe the generation of point clouds in real time. It was a unique opportunity to discover how this technology made the surveying and processing phases easier and faster, with significant savings in time and operating costs.
